The rental counter is located in the airport building in the arrival's terminal. When you pass through customs control please walk down the hallway on the way to the main airport building, which leads to our rental office. Our office is located 4-5 m further on the right side. You will see the brand's sign very visible at the counter desk.
You can save time at the counter when you activate Accelerated Check-in online. Just provide your driver's license and contact information that are normally collected at pick-up and we will be ready when you arrive. You'll be on the road and on vacation before you know it!
Picking up your vehicle after the location closes is easy with Alamo. After Hours Pick-Up might require you follow a few additional steps, which you'll see in your confirmation email.
Returning your vehicle after the location closes is easy with Alamo. We'll tell you where to park it; just drop the keys in the dropbox and you're on your way!
Skip the rental counter lines and check-in directly by using Alamo's touch-screen kiosk. Check-in using the kiosk and a receipt-sized rental agreement is printed. You'll be directed to your rental car on the lot. At the exit booth, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driver's license - and simply drive away.
No need to visit the counter or kiosk. You can go straight to your car!
In order to take advantage of this optional free service, you'll need to activate Accelerated Check-in online then choose the 'Skip the Counter' option. You will be required to confirm your protection options, agree to the Rental Agreement Terms & Conditions and enter a valid credit card (no charge is made until you return your vehicle). Simply print your rental agreement to bring with you, and you are all set! Go directly to your car, show the booth agent your rental agreement and driver's license - and get on the road!
An additional charge of 7.26 EUR per day, maximum 54.45 EUR per rental including VAT applies for each additional driver. Full rental conditions apply to all additional drivers.
After-hours pickups:
After-hours pickup service is available at this location. A representative will be present to process the rental pickup. For after-hours pickup service an advance notice of 24 hours is required as well as contact information at the time of reservation. After-hours service at Tivat airport is 30.25 inclusive of VAT.

After-hours returns:
There is no drop box where returning customers can leave the keys. For rental returns after hours our staff will be present at the rental office counter to check in rentals. At the time of rental pickup, we will request the customer’s contact information and arrange an after-hours return. When returning the rental vehicle please use the main parking lot in front of the airport building. This is the same parking lot where customers are guided by our rental office employees when they pick up the rental car.
MINIMUM AGE TO RENT IS 22 FOR ALL VEHICLE GROUPS WITH THE EXCEPTION OF FULLSIZE VAN WHICH IS 26. THE MAXIMUM AGE TO RENT IS 77. THERE IS NO YOUNG DRIVERS FEE AND IT IS NOT POSSIBLE FOR RENTERS UNDER THE AGE OF 22 - 26 FOR FULLSIZE VAN - TO RENT.
Vehicles can be driven in all E.U. Countries except to Belarus, Russian Federation, Ukraine and Turkey. Vehicles must be returned to the agreed station in Montenegro, if not otherwise agreed by the rental agreement.
Out of country travels require approval of the Station employee, by providing the permission stamp at the rental agreement and all relevant documents, at the time of vehicle pick up. A surcharge for a Third Party Insurance (TPI) will apply and must be purchased at the rental counter. The charge is 60.50 EUR excluding airport fees per rental. The vehicle is covered by TPI as long as it is driven inside the borders of the country for which it is issued. Car replacement while driving abroad is available for additional fee. COLLISION DAMAGE WAIVER (CDW) reduces the renters responsibility for loss of or damage to the rental vehicle (including but not limited to, Towing, storage, loss of use, administrative fees and / or diminished value of the rental vehicle) subject to the terms and conditions of the rental agreement and applicable laws. CDW is offered at the time of rental for an additional daily charge. The CDW excess ranges from 600 EUR to 1200 EUR depending the car group. The purchase of CDW is not a required condition of the rental. The protection provided by CDW may duplicate the renters existing coverage and Enterprise is not qualified to evaluate the adequacy of the renters existing coverage. Therefore, the renter should examine their personal credit card protections, automotive insurance policies or other sources of coverage which may duplicate the protection provided by CDW.
Delivery and Collection is available within a notice period of 24 hours up to 20 km of city limits at a charge of 18.15 EUR per service. Deliveries and collections outside of city limits (over 20 km and up to a maximum of 50 km) will incur the renter and additional per km fee of EUR 0.54.

Domestic one-ways are available for all locations within Montenegro. A one-way drop fee of EUR 30.25 inclusive of VAT is applicable for each domestic one-way rental with the exception of one-way rentals within the same city which are free of charge. There is no minimum length of rental requirement to qualify for a one-way rental. One way reservations must be made within 24 hours advance notice.
International one-way rentals are also allowed on request to select locations. A drop fee applies. This fee amount varies depending on the one-way route and destination location. All vehicles are delivered with a certain level of fuel and must be returned in the same condition. The tank does not have to be full, but the level of fuel have to be noted at the rental agreement. If the vehicle is returned with less fuel than it was at the beginning of the rental, the renter will be charged for the difference plus an extra charge of EUR 10.00. Vat will not apply to fuel charges.
During the winter season of 15 November to 1 April and during cases of inclement winter weather conditions in the country of Montenegro all rental vehicles are fitted with winter tires in accordance to local road laws. Winter tires are included in all rates.
PERSONAL ACCIDENT INSURANCE (PAI) is an optional coverage which if purchased, covers the authorized drivers, passengers and personal effects. This coverage is available to purchase at the counter at the time of rental for an additional fee of 2.50 EUR per day for all car groups - VAT excluding.
Visa and Mastercard credit cards are accepted. All cards presented must be in the renter’s name. A security deposit will be blocked on the credit card and the estimated cost of the rental will be charged at the time of pickup. The deposit will be released by the cardholder's bank upon notification of return of the vehicle. The car categories Mini and Economy require a deposit of 300.00 EUR, Compact and Intermediate have a 500.00 EUR deposit, Standard and Full size vehicles require a 1000.00 EUR deposit. Debit cards and cash cards are accepted as forms of payment for the rental or to purchase additional products. The deposit must be paid with a valid credit card. Roadside Assistance is free of charge and available 24/7 by calling the phone number 382 67222065 and/or 382 67222051. Including these services for free: Flat tyre, Jump start, Lockout service, Fuel Delivery & Key replacement. The cost of the lost or damaged key, lost of vehicle's documents aren't covered and the authorized driver (s) should pay on the spot these costs. In case of an unroadworthy rental vehicle as a result of a roadside incident, a towing service and a replacement vehicle will be provided within 2-4 hours (depends the distance) for free. Road assistance free service void if at the time of incident the authorized driver (s) are in violation of the Rental Agreement terms.
All drivers must present a full valid driving license and a valid identity card or passport. All drivers must have held their full license for a minimum of 1 year. Renters carrying a driving license that isn't in Latin characters do require an International Driving Permit.
SLP SUPPLEMENTARY LIABILITY PROTECTION - THIRD PARTY INSURANCE -REQUIRED BY LAW- IS FREE OF CHARGE AND INCLUDED IN ALL RATES. COVERAGE LIMITS - THIRD PARTY BODILY INJURY OR DEATH UP TO 550,000.00 EUR. THIRD PARTY PROPERTY DAMAGE 300,000.00 EUR.
